I've been using Garmin and MapMyRide pages for a while now. My good friend brought a new site to my attention called Strava. Looks pretty cool, will give it a try.
Looks like it has a fun feature to compare your rides with others in the area, track your times, "compete" against others doing the same routs. I guess it comes down to how active the community is, but so far it looks interesting.
Decided to try multiple climbs on Mt. Soledad today. Picked 3 of the climbs and essentially did hill repeats on Soledad. In an hour we covered 13.1 miles and climbed 2,000 feet. The north side of Soledad is pretty darn steep. Glad we did that as our second climb. Made the last climb up Nautilus feel like a cooldown. Now it is off to De Anza cove for my Open Water swim class with the tri club.
